The Bank of Japan's balance sheet is comprised of three major categories: JGBs (also called "central government securities"), Treasury bills, and loans outstanding. The vast bulk of assets are in JGBs. If the BOJ is buying equities, it hasn't bought very much, at least according to the data provided by the BOJ itself.
